Strawberries and peas in Ypäjä

This morning I had to leave Lahti and my nice hosts. Such a short stay, only for the weekend. :-(
But my dear hc-chat-friend Viivi was awaiting me at Forssa coach station to take me to her parent's home in Ypäjä, in the middle of the south finnish countryside. A small farm, with so many animals: a horse, a dog, and lots and lots of cats and kittens. They had had more, 24 cows, until a few years ago, but life as a farmer is not easy, and now they took up jobs in the nearby towns.
We bought strawberries and peas, the finnish summer food delights, and Viivi taught me how to cook rhubarb and strawberry soup. So delicious!
Then she had to leave for work, and left me to her computer, until her brothers and sisters and parents will come. And here they are - so bye till tomorrow!!!
