Welcome in Lahti! These words were almost the first I learnt today. And I learnt a lot from Leevi :-)After a lazy morning with breakfast, chat, and a nice finnish lunch (pasta and minced meat, done in the oven), the boys decided to stay at home, and the girls went out.
Tanja and me enjoyed a wonderful day in sunny Lahti, she showed me around, we went to the beautiful lake, the beaches (no swimming for either of us no-sports women), and took a trip by boat. It was soooo relaxing!
The landscape is simply great: trees, and water, and houses peeping out of the woods ever so often, people at the small beaches everywhere.
When we came home, Lasse was waiting for us, and prepared some sausages and beef on the grill. Then we watched some soccer (Italy won), and then called it a day. Tomorrow I'm off by bus to visit Viivi in the rural area close to Forssa. But Tanja promised to meet up with Maikel and me in Helsinki end of the month :-))))
