This is Helsinki. And this is the view onto Helsinki from the building I'm staying in. Enjoy! I did tonight when walking up to the roof. :-)What else? Oh: I caught a cold! Head ache, sour throat, the lot. It's Pipsa's awful summer virus, NOT a hangover from the picknick at Suomenlinna.
So I decided not to go to Tampere, which is a pity because I was looking forward to visit Johanna, the girl I had met in Cadiz in April. She had been traveling through Asia with her boyfriend in May and June, and might have given me some new ideas on my trip there in winter. Well, that can't be helped, and Maikel left on his own.
No visit to my since 50 years beloved moomins in Mooominvalley for me, either! :-(
I stayed in the flat, doing some washing, and tried to get well again with coffee and tablets.
In HC-chat I met Sami who told me of their new plans on going to Riga. There had not been any space for his car on the ferries. So we'll have to rent one in Tallinn, Batmannu helped to find a cheap company.
Hopefully Antra in Riga can host me earlier than expected, or else I might go back to Tallinn with my friends, and stay there for a while, maybe with Amest whom I had met at the Helsinki and Berlin meetings. We'll see...
