Berlin was in perfect sunshine yesterday when I left by train to the carnival weekend in Düsseldorf, Maastricht and Cologne. Rainy days there, but carnival will bring fun and sun. Before leaving and switching the laptop off, I received a mail about an action by "Medecins sans frontieres" on an urgent campaign. They asked me to sign a petition to help protect access to affordable medicines.
Pharmaceutical company Novartis is taking the Indian government to court. If the company wins, millions of people across the globe could have their sources of affordable medicines dry up.
Money is more important than people? Not to me! So I signed, and hope you will too here.
