No owls in Athens

Can you imagine? The only owls we saw were those in the archaeological museum, on the mounuments of Athenae, the godess protecting Athens.
Kliment who had arrived late at night from Helsinki went to this great musuem with me, and then around the center. There are lovely parks right in the middle of all the hussle and bustle. We didn't make it in time fo the Akropolis (again), neither had a chance to see the sunset from Areopag, because clouds hid the sun.
In the evening we met up with Sofia and went to the cutest little cafenion, crowded with people chatting, laughing, eating, drinking. The food of course was delicious! Exactly the place I had always been looking for in Greece! All I missed was the rembetika music my friend and collegue Peter had always told me about.
Today Kliment and Sofia went on to Meteora, very early in the morning, and I stay another day with Sofia's nice mother. So we'll have a women's day out. Hopefully I'll manage to see the Ochi-day parade. And rembetika in the evening. And Akropolis! Cross my fingers!
