Pumpkin weekend

Saturday was the first day of the great big Pumpkin Festival in Schöneberg's Akazienstraße and Grunewaldstraße. Luckily the weather was a lot better than the report had told us, lots of sunshine instead of lots of rain. So kids and grown ups alike enjoyed strolling through the streets filled with fair and festival stalls. And lots of pumpkins, of course.
I had some nice african food, and then went home to clean and hoover the flat a bit, and to sort the pictures I had taken when travelling. Which took me four hours. Maybe because I had a very close look sometimes and enjoyed the memories.
The cold has vanished, I'm feeling quite fine (hence the cleaning), and booked the train for monday with "surf-and-rail" special offer Berlin-Dortmund. From there to Düsseldorf it's only one hour and 4 Euro. :)
