Outside it's getting slowly colder, and in Vaihingen even inside the house, since up to now nobody came to fix the heating. :(Anna called, the kids had this great idea of sending a bunch of flowers to my father to wish him all the best and to announce our visit later this month. We chose a nice one, and had it sent by Blume2000.
My teeth are better, but my throat is itching. The usual and well known sign that my autumn cold will start soon. Books, tea, cozy blankets on the couch, music - everything is ready to make the time pass nicely that my body needs to fight the cold.
I didn't feel like going to the Art Forum yesterday, but went to Potsdamer Platz to meet Ghoti from HC for an hour or so. He had been in chat, surfing from Sony Center hot spot, a favourite place to get into the internet for free.
We walked around some to Brandenburg Gate and the celebration of the german national holiday (which this year was part of Deutschlandfest" ), and then he left to his host, and I went back home after doing some shopping at station Friedrichstraße. Pity I wasn't up to more than my Jasper Fforde book. And hot tea with lemon.
