Saturday and Sunday, Schöneberg main street (part of former Reichsstraße 1 from France to Lithuania) was taken over by the people. Food stands, musicians, roundabouts, trays with cheap jewellery blocked one side of the street instead of the normal traffic, smells of hotdogs and candyfloss filled the air instead of gasoline and fumes. It's nothing special, just a small festival for the neighbourhood. But of course they all came and watched and listened and ate and drank. And the kids were happy.
