Today was the first ever Equal Pay Day in Germany. I knew about it, but had no chance to get one of those cute red bags they gave away today. :( Maybe next year I'll be lucky.
And for now I'm happy to be one of the few women to get paid the same as men - well, I'm working with a trade union. And they support equal pay (check here).
Other women work all day, and still struggle. Especially older women have problems to live on their small income or pensions. Whilst men get paid a lot more for the same job. It's so unfair! Let's change it!
