Ten days of strikers demonstrating, negotiating, and waiting in the cold or - a lot better - in a nice pub close by. One of the strikers' meeting places is Café Kleisther at Hauptstraße. Not far from the BVG office at Kleistpark, and just round the corner from my flat. It's good to see the strikers in the middle of the city. Most people hate that public transport isn't working, but they rather walk than give in to another year without a pay rise. It's about time now!
