Sunday saw high rising temperatures and lots of sun in Stuttgart-Vaihingen. Volker enjoyed a break in learning for his exam, sitting in front of our kitchen window soaking up the sunbeams. Alex and Anna took me to the station, and I watched the spring landscapes from the train. Berlin was warm enough in the evening to have some food and drinks with Kurt the Emil carrier outside Cafe Mirell. Today it will be sunnier even. How lovely after two weeks of winter holidays!
