Ok, I kept the hat and turned into a Xmas teletubby. ;)I got the new glasses as well, and went to the finnish village in my new outfit to meet Patrick aka urg and his friends for a glögi (hot spicy wine). We hadn't seen each other since August in Riga, but of course met in chat.
Later Anna joined me, and we browsed the malls and shops for gifts. Again.
We found some (psssst - can't tell, they're a surprise), and I got a few books in 2001. One by Tove Jansson: "Die Mumins. Eine drollige Gesellschaft". It's a new translation of "Finn Family Moomintroll", the third book of the series. A gift for myself. Luckily, it's getting colder and greyish outside, so it's comfortable to stay at home, have a tea and read. :)
