Like every year we bought lots of books at Vaihingen Xmas market, from members of the the Lion's Club. No need to pay a lot for crime literature earlier, cos the best published during the year will be available for one Euro here. I left with quite a few, among them another Gervase Fen by my favourite british author Edmund Crispin (turns out I had read it in 1984 already, then published under another title), and some books on home decorating and colours, only 3 Euro each. :)On Sunday, I made it to the artists' market in the beautifully renovated old fire engine house in Vaihingen center, and of course left with two great pics. I might have bought a lot more, they were really cheap as well as amazing!
So now when back in Berlin (when, I wonder) I'll have to paint a few walls and find a place where best to admire the new paintings!
