True for you as well? I find myself telling people who ask me "Where are you from?" that I live and work in Berlin, my family home is in Stuttgart, and I grew up in Düsseldorf. But my home language is my grandparents' who raised me, and they were from the Ruhr valley. I feel relaxed and at ease in southern Spain. Now where's my home?

Thanks for your comment on my blog. I've had some amusing responses from people who do not know quinces: onions, potatoes and garlic. Somebody suggested make them into beer! Not a bad idea.
