Today was the first day and evening of summer jazz at Englischer Garten, in the middle of Berlin's greencenter Tiergarten. Since I first heard about it, I have to go there every weekend in July and August, relax on the grass, have some cool wine, a good book (the new Jasper Fforde is out!), freshly made indian or turkish food, and, best of all, listen to great jazz and (so-called) world music. For free, to top it. Ahhhhhhhh, summer's here at last!
