Yesterday I took the plane from Berlin to Stuttgart where my children live in our small house. My son Alex met me at the airport in his car. With him waiting for me were two new friends: Kali and Gipsy, two dogs my daughter Anna found at the Stuttgart animal farm, and all the family fell in love with. They were my first birthday present! After a great but very early breakfast at 7:30 h with champagne and raspberry cake, I had a wonderful birthday with all my family: my two kids, my daughter's boyfriend Volker, her two cats Felix and Emily, and the two dogs.
